Is it any wonder that a collaboration between two avant-garde fashion darlings, photographer Tim Walker and actress Tilda Swinton, would result in the compelling, surrealist dreamscape of this W Magazine spread? Like Walker, Swinton has long been a proponent for the Art of Dress and many times over its living embodiment. Most recently, she has collaborated with Olivier Saillard, director of Paris’s Palais Galliera fashion museum, on a number of performance art pieces involving dress (more to come soon!). In this May 2013 spread for W, Swinton’s own body serves as the canvas for a stunning display of fashions styled by Jacob K.
